위는 모두 틀린 표현이다. 현대 영미인들은 이런 표현을 쓰지 않는다(단, 위 네번째 경우는 사전에도 등재되어 있으나 잘 사용하지 않는다). 대신,

I suggest/recommend this dictionary (to you).
I suggest/recommend this dictionary (to you).
를 사용한다.
